User profile description

Before you even arrive at the Barossa, visit the Barossa website to gather all your holiday ideas and find accommodation. Once you are here, enter the Tanunda or Gawler Visitor Information Centre for the Barossa Visitor's Guide and some great suggestions. If you would like to stay nearby, please check out our nearest neighbour's beautiful B-B called Pinecone Ridge. Anne and Josh Square is located next to the Town Block vineyard and you get a nice view from either side of the property. Our favorite restaurants here serve delicious food and there are a few that continue to reach this level! The first would be FermentAsian for fabulous Vietnamese-influenced dishes and both excellent service and an exceptional wine list. Vintners Bar and Grill is almost our local now, just down the road. If you are a fan of sardines, I highly recommend the sardines on cookies we had recently! Discover the Barossa Cheese Co on Angaston's main street to refuel before heading out for a picnic. If you arrive at the Foodland Co-op supermarket in Nuriootpa on the right day, you can pick up some - some of Eleni foccacia in the incredible oven - the best at a picnic - picnic! We love that people come to stay, one of the best assets is that it allows us to go out and discover some of the amazing cellar doors around the valley. For a wine-free experience, head to Seppeltsfield Road Distillery and sample gin - All Sorts licorice gin is Derek's favourite.
