Your host:

Modern wine cellar, using French and American oak A wine producer for nearly 20 years, Bodegas y Viedos del Jalon was established in 1999 when three wineries dating back to the 1960s joined forces within the DO Calatayud region. The government of Aragon, as well as four Aragonese financial authorities - Ibercaja, CAI, Multicaja and Cajaklon , participated in the development of the estate. Today, the grape crop in Bodegas y Viedos del Jalon produces high-quality wines and delivers both nationally and internationally. The owners have invested in state-of-the-art machines, stainless steel vats, modern presses and French and American oak barrels to improve the quality of the wines. This attention to every detail is a key element of the success of the Bodegas y Viedos del Jalon. Hand-harvested grapes for high quality wines Respecting the ancient winemaking traditions, the staff of Bodegas y Viedos del Jalon grows a wide range of grapes on the 650 hectares of vineyards, which represent about 20% of the entire name of Calatayud. They grow grenache, syrah and tempranillo, as well as high-quality macabeo. All the processes of harvesting, picking grapes, transporting to the cellar, and initial processing with precision and careful selection of the best bunches. Under the status of Calatayud DO, the team produces premium red and white wines in combination with succulent rosé wines.
