Tenuta Villa Pinciana was born about 15 years ago, in Capalbio, in the south of the Maremma. A family vineyard, discover with us a new taste of Tuscany.
The winery, recently completed, has been built using the most modern and innovative technologies in order to guarantee continuous monitoring of production and to obtain the highest quality.
We will be happy to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard. We will explain the work done in the vineyard, then the work done in the vinification and finally the refinement of the wines. Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.

Maremma: the modern Tuscan "Terroir" An estate of vines and olive trees that extends over the hills of Capalbio towards the sea. In the middle of this land, a new, surprising vocation for wine emerges, at the southern end of Tuscany. The climate is typically that of a hilly country, with fresh winds blowing, keeping summer temperatures cooler throughout the region. Since the soil overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea it is constantly ventilated, and thanks to the particular quality of the clay present in the soil, the conditions are exceptional for a new but experienced viticulture. The hill at the foot of capalbio castle, on which all the vineyards of the company grow, is guaranteed by bright sunlight from early morning until late evening. The gift by nature The vineyards extend over an area of about 100 meters above sea level, with steep slopes. The soils are characterized by a medium-dough structure, with a good dose of calcium and a skeleton of sandy-slimy dough, with little organic substance but rich in potassium that gives the soil a well oxygenated structure and little compact. The Man Choices The strategy of tenuta Villa Pinciana, as producer of a new brand, is to improve quality year after year, with the aim of extending the vineyard by more than 15 hectares. Meticulous pruning, exclusively grapes harvested by hand, selection of grapes in the vineyard and cellar; the use of small barriques selected in Bordeaux: these are just some of the strategies used by Villa Pinciana to obtain a wine of the highest quality. The production philosophy follows a procedure of interventions that are limited within the winemaking process. The Maremma origin of the wines produced is obtained by mixing native varieties with international grapes. See less
