In the heart of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, push the doors of a unique cellar. During this visit, you will discover the backstage of wine making. It all starts in the tank room where the wine waits patiently to be bottled. Then you will continue in the vaulted cellars under the cellar with the maturation barrels. The Chai team will make you discover their profession while making you taste 4 wines directly on the vats and barrels to understand the different stages of winemaking of the wine. You will learn the key elements to taste your wine like a pro. A unique moment to learn more about wine, to live alone or to share.

Located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, Chai Saint Olive is Lyon's first winery! Creator of urban wines, Chai Saint Olive is a place of production. From the reception of freshly squeezed grape juices (also known as musts) to bottling, through barrel or vat farming, all the winemaking steps are carried out. All wines are produced from local grape varieties (Chardonnay, Viognier, Gamay and Syrah) carefully selected from 4 estates located less than 60 kilometres from Chai. More than a family and entrepreneurial adventure, Chai Saint Olive is a human adventure punctuated by chance encounters and long dates including those of the winegrowers and winemakers partners of Chai. Local children, lovers of their vineyards and passionate about their craft, these winemakers and winemakers practice a responsible viticulture and respectful of nature and people. It is by following this philosophy that Franck and Grégoire have selected the winemakers of Chai in the Rhône Valley with Jeanne Gaillard in Malleval, and Beaujolais with Jean-Michel - Viviane Tournissoux in Lantignié, Christophe Subrin at Breuil and Hubert Cinquin in Quincié-en-Beaujolais.
