Description
For this new tasting workshop, Emotion Vin takes you into the irresistibly gourmet world of cheese and wine pairings! Traditionally in France, we love to associate cheese with red wine, but why? There is an explanation for that. But from an organoleptic point of view, it doesn't have much interest. While the combination of cheeses and white wines, offers an unrivalled sensory ecstasy. White wine is without a doubt the best ally of cheese. The very principle of food/wine pairings is to sublimate both the food and the wine. The opposite effect is therefore also possible. Indeed, a dish can deconstruct a wine and a wine can break the aromatic harmony of a dish. Why inflict this on your taste buds? You will be undeniably surprised and charmed at the same time. And your taste buds will be grateful!
On the program, 2 hours of tasting workshop, for an informative, gourmet moment, full of sharing and good humor! 4 pretty vintages of the region in BIO or Biodynamic, 4 locally refined cheeses and 4 irresistible pairings!

To the eye, a brilliant pale yellow colour with pretty green highlights. The nose is complex and floral, with aromas of fruit (white peach, apricot) and white flowers (lily of the valley, lilac). On the palate, the attack is lively, a consistent but flattering fatness with a touch of minerality.

As I often say ,"I grew up with red Mercuryy in my bottle"! As you will have understood, wine was an important part of my upbringing, especially the Burgundies of the Côte Chalonnaise and the classified wines of Bordeaux. With a mother of Burgundy origin and a father passionate about the great wines of Bordeaux, I could hardly miss it. Beyond the family setting, I have acquired my skills and knowledge related to wine, through my various professional experiences. I also obtained the WSET III (Wine and Spirit Education Trust), as well as the Master Level Sud de France. At the same time, I have a master's degree in Marketing Management. But it all started in 2010, with my first experience in winemaking, at Domaine Michel Juillot in Mercurey. Then came various experiences, notably in the Minervois, the first favourite for the Languedoc-Roussillon region, or at the École des Vins in Paris. I then started the adventure Repaire de Bacchus, a sign of winemakers in the Paris region, which lasted 6 years. I was Head of Cave, Head of Sales Development, Marketing Manager and finally Project Manager for the creation of the Haussmann Spring winery in Paris. I then went to discover the vineyards of New Zealand and Australia, only to return a year later with the desire to start a new adventure, which would be my own! See less
