Philippe Courrian, owner in Médoc of Château Tour Haut-Caussan, acquired this vineyard a few years ago and gradually restructured it to give his red corbières a gourmet and polished style that suits him very well. Here, no special vintages, a single wine always regular, straight, without rusticity, and a perfect digestibility.

In 1992, Philippe Courrian and his children bought part of the Château Saint Laurent from Monsieur de Bermon de Vaux. The property takes the name of Cascadais thanks to the presence of beautiful waterfalls. It is located in the Nielle Valley (Orbieux tributary). This vineyard has been resurrected in a unique environment to perpetuate all the charms of a sunny terroir. Wines: 2001 evolves well, retaining volume and a well-defined fruit. A real table wine, ready for service. The 2002 has less flesh, but a cool balance of the end of the mouth. To chew young, on its young fruity notes.
