In this heritage rich in traditions, we discover the city of CHINON which gives its name to our wine.
The Domaine du Colombier is a family farm that has been passed down for five generations.
Since 1998, Christine and Olivier Jouvault have been keeping the estate a part of tradition and modernity.
Our vineyard, spread over 24ha of Cabernet Franc (for reds and rosés) and Chenin (for white), planted on clay-limestone and argillo-silliceux soil, gives birth to wines that have been renowned for generations.
We then offer you a tasting of our best wines.
All this in a warm atmosphere, and a pleasant setting!

Visits at 1 euro means that they are made free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to assure us of the seriousness of your request and to prevent the winemaker from blocking a visiting slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you for cancelling your visit to the platform and/or notify the winemaker directly.

The DOMAINE OF COLOMBIER is a farm transmitted for five generations extended on 24ha of Cabernet Franc (for reds and rosés) and Chenin (for white), planted on clay-limestone and argilo-silliceux soil. Our vinifications remain traditional and take place at a relatively low temperature of 25oC which develops the fine and fruity aromas of the wine. The rather long wine, from 3 to 4 weeks, gives birth to a tannic wine that possesses the double and exceptional quality of being able to drink young, in real Easter wine, but also to age without wrinkle for many years. After bottling our Chinon is kept in the cellars of tuffeau, vast safe, where these bottles can ripen and refine in peace. See less
