Visit and tasting Chateau Falfas

Welcome to Château Falfas, one of the first organic dynamics in Bordeaux (biodynamic since 1988). The 20 hectares of the vineyard are located on the southern slopes of the hillsides of the right bank of the Gironde, in this beautiful region nicknamed the "little Swiss girondine".
Merlot, cabernet and malbec are planted on clay-limestone soil in which the vines are deeply rooted. The Falfas terroir consists of a limestone background with asteries, recognized as one of the best for the vine.
The mild climate, favoured by the proximity of the Gironde, allows the grapes to reach their full maturity under ideal conditions. Limited yields, manual harvests, selection of grapes at the peak of their maturity, long and well-groomed winemaking, breeding in French oak barrels... so many attentions that guarantee impeccable quality and an ability to keep in bottles for a long time.
