The nose is expressive and elegant, revealing aromas of white flowers, toasted almonds, and vanilla. Subtle hints of fresh butter and toasted bread enrich the bouquet, adding a lovely complexity.
On the palate, the attack is supple, full-bodied, and rounded, offering a beautiful structure and persistence. Flavors of marzipan and sap blend harmoniously, supported by a well-integrated acidity that balances the overall effect.
The finish is long and precise, marked by a subtle minerality.

Know a bit more about the domain

Located in Chassagne-Montrachet, the Fontaine-Gagnard family estate was founded in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard and her husband Richard Fontaine. Their daughter, Céline, joined the business in 2007. The estate covers a dozen hectares, mostly located on the Côte des Blancs, with plots of red wine also planted in Pommard and Volnay. The entire vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, respecting the terroir and the environment.
