Fontaine-Gagnard - La Boudriotte - 2023 - Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru

White

Description

The color is a luminous pale yellow, adorned with silvery highlights, and offers beautiful clarity.
The nose is elegant and complex, revealing aromas of white flowers, acacia, linden, and white-fleshed fruits, peach, and pear, accompanied by subtle mineral touches reminiscent of flint or gunflint. Lightly buttery notes and toasted hazelnut enrich the bouquet, testifying to the wine's masterful barrel aging.
On the palate, the attack is frank and lively, followed by a full and round mouthfeel, offering a beautiful structure and a pleasant aromatic persistence. The ripe fruit flavors blend harmoniously with a delicate minerality, providing balance and length.
The finish is clean, marked by a saline touch that gives the wine a lovely freshness.
