Bodega Luigi Bosca l Familia Arizu
Luigi Bosca, owned by the Arizu family, is one of the leading Mendocine wineries in the wine segment of the highest level. It has a history ....
Wines designed as close as possible to the Gaillacois grape varieties as many years ago, "trendy" wines on the fruit, ample and silky. This family home rests on a clay vein. Our ancestors built it into "terrisses", these blocks of raw earth (pictured right). They took this clay soil and then mixed it with water and a little straw. Then they would pack it all up and put it in the template. Unfortunately we were forced to protect these "Terrisses"
We chose this name because it is the image of a terroir! The one in our vineyard.
We advise you to contact us before your visit so that we are at the winery to receive you.

50 km north-east of Toulouse, Gaillac is one of the most important vineyards in the south-west of France. The Domaine des Terrisses is situated on the very first slopes overlooking the town of Gaillac where the Romans and then the Benedictines of the Saint Michel Abbey (10th century) already cultivated vines. The Domaine is made up of 40 hectares of traditional grape varieties. L'en de l'el and Mauzac for the whites. Braucol, Duras and Prunelart for the reds. 7 generations have helped to shape the Cazottes vineyard, patiently selecting the grape varieties, plots and winemaking methods that combine new technologies and ancestral know-how. Thanks to our intensive care, our wines are racy and typical, of very high aromatic expression with a lot of personality. See less
