Description

Generosity and simplicity of the Loire on this cuvée which comes from the vines at the top of the estate, on scree of millarge, yellow tufa characteristic of part of the Chinon appellation as well as two islets in the valley, composed of gravel on limestone . We find here these greedy and generous notes signature of the domain.

Located on the right bank of the Vienne Valley, between Tours and Saumur, Domaine Grosbois, a former fortified farm built in the 15th century, covers 20 hectares of vines.
Most of the 19 plots that make up the Domaine are located in the heart of a Grand Clos.
The estate is essentially composed of friable soils of millarges, yellow quartz sands which retain heat at the end of the vegetative cycle.
