Description
MASCIARELLI Tenute Agricole was born in 1981 from the entrepreneurial intuition of Gianni Masciarelli, symbol of Italian wine and protagonist of the success of modern wine production in Abruzzo. The beating heart of the winery is in San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the province of Chieti, and includes vineyards and olive groves, in the 4 provinces of Abruzzo.
Wine production — while also having a small production of extra virgin olive oil — now has 18 labels and five product lines: Classic Line, Gianni Masciarelli, Villa Gemma, Marina Cvetic and Castello di Semivicoli.
In the constant and renewed work of innovation, but in the respect of the environment and tradition, Masciarelli inaugurated, after a long restoration, Castello di Semivicoli, a stately home of the seventeenth century, which is today a Charming Relay in the vineyards, a force of wine tourism in the region.

Welcoming and guiding visitors to discover our world and the timeless mystery that is wine, is part of our job. For this reason, the Masciarelli winery is open to the public every working day, by appointment. Our staff will show you the places where the grapes arrive and where their processing begins: the Salle des Cuves, the resting place of Villa Gemma Rosso; the Red Wine Barrel Hall, with more than 1,000 French oak barrels surrounded by classical music; the White Wine Barrel Hall, which accompanies the maturation of Trebbiano and Chardonnay Marina Cvetic; and the Tonneaux room dedicated to Gianni's parents, Amedeo and Liberata. After the visit, enjoy a tasting of our wines by the glass, with specialties from the region, at the Masciarelli store. Being adjacent to the Cellar, the store is the ideal place for a little relaxing break, to buy our wines and those of the Masciarelli Selection, buy gadgets, corporate gifts and Masciarelli Food products made in co-marketing with local companies of excellence.
