Description
Founded in 1929 in the heart of Jumilla in Spain, where our cellar is still today. The same land in which we grow and bottle our wines.
From this date to the present day, successive generations of the Gilar family have devoted themselves to the production of high quality wines, always using grapes selected from the Monastrell grape variety as the base and raw material, originating from this land.
Various extensions throughout history have given this cellar a total capacity of 2 million litres distributed in vats of all kinds, ranging from 48,000-litre wooden cones, 6,000-litre oak cones or 225-litre French and American oak barrels, with large modern capacity. stainless steel vats that guarantee excellent cleaning and wine preservation conditions.

We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.

In the heart of Jumilla (Murcia) in Spain, Fermín Gilar was founded in 1929 by José Gilar Jiménez. For nearly 100 years, the cellar has always been in the family, which over time has modernized it. The legacy that Fermín Gilar left after 75 years dedicated to the winery, is still present today through the fourth generation, who joined him in 2010 and runs it today, sharing the same passion for the land and the cultivation of the vine.
