Beaujolais is 320 million years old and retains all its youth and freshness. The Beaujolais Hills were formed 320 million years ago. They were located in the tropics where there were volcanoes erupting under the sea! From these volcanic rocks were born the great terroirs of Beaujolais.
In the hamlet of Le Vissoux in Saint-Vérand, south of Beaujolais, the birthplace of the Vissoux family has been home since the 17th century. It is the heart of the estate surrounded by a large plot of 9 hectares with a beautiful southwest exposure. Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette produce red, rosé and white Beaujolais, much of it from old vines. Reasoned wrestling in the vineyards, hand-picking at full maturity with successive sorting, native yeasts, respect for traditional semi-carbon winemaking, traditional methods in Beaujolais that they use to shape authentic and personalized wines.

We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
