Description
Their ambitions are simple: to make the wine they dream of respecting the environment, and satisfying their customer.
Then begins an important work of modernizing tools and working methods. Renovation of the cellar and upgrading: new vats of smaller size are acquired, to allow a piecemeal winemaking.
On the cultural side, a conversion approach to organic farming was undertaken at the end of 2001. The soils are worked, and weeding is done mechanically. The only treatments to fight diseases are based on sulphur and copper. The benefits of biodynamics allow them to divide the doses of product by four.
We will be delighted to welcome you for a presentation of our vineyard.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
We look forward to welcoming you very soon to Château Lacapelle Cabanac!
