Tenuta Canto alla Moraia: classic Tour
Your host:

It is an ancient land told over the centuries by the greatest artists: Dante, Piero della Francesca, Leonardo, Michelangelo... and before that by the Etruscans, the Romans and the silent pilgrims eager to stop and pray in the austere many Romanesque churches that, as vigilant sentinels rise to heaven.
The estate with its 30 hectares is located on the hilly hills chianti of the Arno Valley at the height of 330 meters above sea level.m. protected by the pratomagno mountains along the Cassia Vetus, Roman road from the 2nd century BC. J.-C.C; its fire-red Earth, full of embers, is immersed in harmony with the green of oak and chestnut woods and, at its margins, lush silver olive trees sparkle in the company of cypress patients.
Silvia and Rodolfo, like this man full of Tuscan humanity who was his grandfather Giannetto, bought the Tenuta Canto alla Moraia from Castiglion Fibocchi deciding to make it a way of life, aimed at material gratuitousness and freedom of mind, thus the essence of nature. For this reason, they chose three inverted sunbehinds as the company's logo: an ancient Celtic druid symbol, which with the motto "Truth is life" expresses the embodiment of the free spirit.
The guided tour of the winery will be followed by a tasting of 3 organic wines and a mixed platter of cold cuts, local cheeses and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil. The cutting board can be served inside the winery or outdoors in the summer under the pergola of the garden.
Running time 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Our family began their journey in the world of wine in the 1950s, when Giannetto Lebole and his brother Mario, large and enlightened entrepreneurs, bought a 200-hectare farm in Castiglion Fibocchi, near Arezzo, from the Royal Family Savoia-Aosta, then owner of the estate "il Borro". In a short time they realized a large agricultural plan by growing 90 hectares of vineyards. They were innovative plants for those times; state-of-the-art production cultivation techniques were used, in the continuous search for the balance that must exist between the vine and the earth to obtain the maximum oenological results.
