Description

This is an ancient land told over the centuries by the greatest artists: Dante, Piero della Francesca, Leonardo, Michelangelo... and before that by the Etruscans, romans and silent pilgrims eager to stop and pray in the austere numerous Romanesque churches that as vigilant sentinels rise to heaven.
The estate with its 30 hectares is located on the rolling chianti hills of the Arno valley at the height of 330 meters above sea level.m. protected by the Pratomagno mountains along the Cassia Vetus, roman road of the second century bc.C; its fire red Earth, as full of embers, is immersed in harmony with the green of the woods of oaks and chestnut trees and, at its margin, lush silvery olive trees sparkle in the company of cypress patients.

The guided tour of the winery is followed by a tasting of 3 organic wines, it will be accompanied by bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil.
Duration 1 hour.
Silvia and Rodolfo, following the example of that man full of Tuscan humanity who was his grandfather Giannetto, bought the Tenuta Canto alla Moraia in Castiglion Fibocchi deciding to make it a path of life, aimed at material gratuitousness and freedom of spirit, therefore at the essence of Nature. For this reason they have chosen as the company logo three inverted sunbehinds: an ancient Celtic druid symbol, which with the motto "Truth is life" expresses the embodiment of the free spirit.

Our family began their journey in the world of wine in the 1950s, when Giannetto Lebole and his brother Mario, large and enlightened entrepreneurs, bought a 200-hectare farm in Castiglion Fibocchi, near Arezzo, from the Royal Family Savoia-Aosta, then owner of the estate "il Borro". In a short time they realized a large agricultural plan by growing 90 hectares of vineyards. They were innovative plants for those times; state-of-the-art production cultivation techniques were used, in the continuous search for the balance that must exist between the vine and the earth to obtain the maximum oenological results.
