Acquired by the De Schepper family in 1996, the vines of Château La Croizille enjoy a remarkable location in the heart of the legendary Saint-Emilion vineyard. The vineyard in one piece on the slopes of the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, nestled in a kind of circus between 30 and 70 meters above sea level is close to that of Château Tour Baladoz, in Saint-Laurent des Combes, between Tertre Roteboeuf and Troplong Mondot.
From its acquisition, the family intends to develop an exceptional wine, combining this great terroir with cutting-edge technology and traditional know-how. In April 2013, a new cellar of remarkable architecture was completed at Château La Croizille, meeting all technical requirements and including a receptive room overlooking the valley, highlighting the view of the exceptional landscape.
