The Bruno Hertz winery is located in the heart of Eguisheim, a charming village on the wine route 5 km south of Colmar. It is a medieval city built in three circles around the castle, birthplace of Pope Leo IX in 1002. In 2005 the commune was voted the most beautiful village in France in 2006 and the french's favourite village in 2013. The many events (visit of the wine trail, night watchman, winemakers' festival, Christmas market ...) make Eguisheim a dynamic and attractive village for those who want to discover Alsace. See less
