In 2006, a group of friends and wine connoisseurs gathered to buy an old cherry tree in the American Wine Zone (AVA) of Eola-Amity Hills. The existing farmhouse was converted into a cellar and 12 acres of vines were planted on the land - this is how the Rizzo Winery was born. Today, the original founder of Rizzo Winery - Vineyard, Habib Matin, alongside his partner Saiid Behboodi, with the support of winemakers David Rizzo and Henry Morgan - "Team Rizzo" - are committed to continuing to produce the high quality wines that our consumers have enjoyed over the past decade.
