Description
Our motto at Domaine de Bellevue could be "you don't make good wines without good grapes". Half of our vines are more than 30 years old.
On our vineyard we benefit from 2 types of soil, granite in Meillard and sands and gravel from the bourbon in Chatel-de-Neuvre.
These soils of a different nature bring precious micro-elements that give our wines all their richness and authenticity.
The wine reflects the personality of the winemaker and, through the blends of grapes, the creativity of the cellar master. For more than 30 years, Jean-Louis Pétillat, a graduate in viticulture and winemaking from the Beaune school, has been passionately pursuing winemaking at the estate.
Its know-how enriched by the family experience contributes to the aromatic quality and reputation of the wines of the Domaine de Bellevue
We will be delighted to welcome you to the estate to present our work and make you taste our range of wines and in particular our Tressallier, a local white grape, known for having crossed the Allier. It produces medium-sized clusters with small, juicy grapes. It produces light, lively and fresh wines!
