Description
We welcome you to Château Rozier, cradle of our family of Winemakers since 1796 to share our passion.
We will begin our visit in the heart of one of our plots to discover the different professions of the vine and meiux understand what is a wine terroir.
We will then go to our cellars to unravel the secrets of winemaking whose goal is to sublimate what nature and our work in the vineyard offer us every year.
Then will come the time of the tasting of 4 of our wines. Of course we will taste our 2 cuvées of Saint-Emilion Grand cru fashioned at Château Rozier, but also 2 other wines from our properties of Fronsac and Montagne Saint-Emilion. This tasting of 4 wines will allow you to see the very wide variety of flavors that can provide our merlots and cabernets francs depending on the terroirs from which they come. There will be something for every taste and every purse.
We would be delighted to welcome you to make you discover the estate and its history and the work done to develop our wine!
Looking forward to seeing you again

Founded in 1775, the Saby vineyard has been present in the Saint-Emilionnais for 9 generations, under 7 appellations on 70 hectares. This family vineyard was born in the eighteenth century, 1775, after the acquisition of the first plot in Saint-Emilion. Château ROZIER created in the twentieth century has constantly developed and today has 28 hectares. Jean-Bernard in 1979 bought the château HAUCHAT under the name Fronsac and Bordeaux Supérieur. In 2002, the family vineyard took over the exploitation of Château SAINT ANDRE CORBIN and vinified three new appellations since the 2003 vintage: Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion, Montage Saint-Emilion and Lalande de Pomerol. From this day, Château ROZIER and Château SAINT ANDRE CORBIN are the jewels of the Saby family. Heirs of the family passion, the sons Jean-Christophe and Jean-Philippe, oenologists, produce powerful and ripe wines while combining traditions and modernity. Respect is the key word for these two brothers who make sure to produce quality wines. Despite the diversity of soils, vintage after vintage the Saby vineyards produce wines with a beautiful dark ruby color, with an intense nose of blossoming red fruits that have the characteristics of the great wines of the region. This know-how is regularly starred in the Hachette Wine Guide. They are also greeted by gold medals in the three major competitions: Concours agricole de Paris, Challenge international and Concours d'Aquitaine. At the moment, the small family business has evolved well and has more than 70 hectares of vines under different appellations of great renown in this Bordeaux region See less
