Description

The operation of a domain requires daily work and constant monitoring.
This haute couture work, always with the concern for perfection, consists in mastering each step without neglecting the scope of each gesture.

Thus, we adapt to climatic conditions, we observe, we examine each plot, and we question ourselves, experiment, and evolve in our practices every year.

In our vineyards, for example, the studies carried out by geologists have allowed us to better understand the potential of our different terroirs and thus adapt our work to it.

At all stages, from the vine to bottling, family know-how complements the technology.

We would be
delighted to welcome you to make you discover the estate and its history and the work done to develop our wines!

Looking forward to seeing you again soon at the Huguenot estate

The terroirs of the Domaine are a real gift from the generations" The vine has been transmitted in our family since 1800 thanks to our ancestors: Eugène Lambert, Georges Huguenot, Pierre Quillardet, Lucien Boudier, Charles Quillardet, have slowly built up the heritage. 1947 Roger and Marguerite Huguenot-Quillardet exploit some vines. They gradually invested in a few plots and in particular in 1967, in a plot of Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, which they hoped to pass on to future generations. 1968 Their son, Jean-Louis Huguenot, quickly passionate about the profession, will support them. Jean-Louis is a passionate and ambitious builder who will not hesitate to undertake important construction work in cellars and wineries. With his wife, Éliane, they gave a new boost to the farm by marketing all their production in bottles to individuals throughout France. At every opportunity, they expand the estate by investing in the municipalities of Marsannay and Fixin. The estate then extends over 18 hectares. From an early age, their son, Philippe, benefits from their passion and the transmission of their knowledge. 1993 After training at the School of Viticulture in Beaune, then at the Faculty of Dijon, Philippe Huguenot is involved in the field by ensuring the work of the vines and the vinifications. Jean-Louis and Eliane believe in their son, and leave him free to chart his own path without ever doubting his choices. Valérie, his wife, joined him on the estate in 2001. Together, they are now writing a new page in their history. See less
