Description
The department of Yonne is located in Burgundy. The 40 hectares of Domaine Sorin Defrance are located on limestone, marl or even clay soils, which has a great influence on the freshness, the more or less pronounced fruity aromas of the wines.
The terroirs from the Jurassic period of 150 million years ago (Portlandian, Kimmeridgian) are, for consumers, the sign of an authentic and traditional product.
Domaine Sorin DeFrance is based on several grape varieties: Aligoté, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Gamay (white juice).
We would be happy to welcome you to the vineyards, and share our history and experience with you.
We will explain the work done at the vineyard, then the one done to the winemaking to finish by the wine growing.
Finally, we will offer you a tasting of some of our vintages.
