Description
The tour that is carried out by a guide or the owners takes you from the vineyard to the cellars through the wine cellar. The duration of a visit is about 1 hour and more depending on the questions asked and to which we will answer with the greatest pleasure.
This visit begins with a short presentation of the history of the SALLETTE family and the creation of the Castle in front of the famous dovecote renovated in 2016 emblem of Château Pierre de Montignac. In the second step, you will be able to observe the vines live with an explanation of the terroir and the grape varieties of the property near the area where the harvest is received each year at the entrance of the winery.
Once the large wooden door is visible as soon as you arrive on the property, you will have the pleasure of discovering the backstage of the Château such as its cellar (wine cellar). This winery is followed by a visit to the barrel-based winery and the modern winery, both renovated in 2018 and 2019. We can talk about the origin, characteristics and role of barrels as well as modern vats. Depending on the time of year, you can also observe key moments of life at the Château, such as bottling.
If you wish, the team puts at your disposal a guest book in the tasting room to express your feelings of the visit-tasting as well as the accommodation. Thanking you in advance for your words and drawings that allow us to make the life of this vineyard last in the best conditions.
Afterwards, you will have the chance to proceed to the tasting of several of our wines.

The visits at 1€ mean that they are carried out free of charge by the winemaker. This amount is requested to ensure the seriousness of your request and avoid the winemaker to block a visiting slot unnecessarily.
In case of unforeseen events, we thank you for cancelling your visit to the platform and/ or notifying the winegrower directly.
