Full-day Loire Valley Sampler Tour from Paris

Meet 3 winemakers, taste more than 12 different wines.

Price per person: 150€ all inclusive except for round trip TGV train ticket from Paris (additional 50€ per person).

We will leave right away to the countryside and the vineyards of the Loire Valley. You will meet your first wine maker in the village of Thoré la Rochette, the Appellation of the wine is; Côteaux du Vendômois. We have carefully selected reputable wine makers with great wine and beautiful cellars to visit. Luc Bonhomme, a Loire Valley wine expert and your guide, will explain the characteristics of the appellations we are tasting and build up your knowledge about Loire Valley wines. We will then move to another wine maker belonging to another wine appellation and taste his or her wines. We will have lunch (wine available) in a typical local family run restaurant. Lunch is included in your package. After lunch we will continue our discovery of the Loire Valley wines by meeting our third winemaker. During this tour, you will have a chance to taste some of the most emblematic wine grapes such as Cabernet Franc, Chenin blanc, Pineau d’Aunis, and Sauvignon blanc. At the end of the day we will return to the Vendôme-Villers train station.

You can meet us at the TGV train station: Vendôme-Villiers ( TGV station of the city of Vendôme) at 8:15 AM. Alternatively, if you leave from Paris, we can include the round-trip TGV train ticket for a small additional fee (50€ per person). Please see Options for this add-on.
