Château de Sales is one of the few bordeaux estates to have been fully passed down from generation to generation since the end of the 15th century. Its chartreuse, built in 1647 and unchanged since then, has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1996. With 47.60 hectares of vines, on the 90 hectares of the estate, the farm owns the largest vineyard in the AOC Pomerol. The two château de Sales wines are the expression of the Pomerol terroir, fruity, round and fleshy with silky tannins, suavity and elegance. They are the result of the perfect adequacy of the Merlot (majority), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties with gravel and sandy soils. Discover this exceptional heritage and its unique family history. See less
