Champagne Dom Caudron draws its origins from Passy-Grigny, a village in the Marne Valley, where a famous Abbot, Aimé Caudron, a generous epicurean, was an emblematic figure in the viticulture of this village in the Marne Valley. Loving to lunch at the village's wine growers, enlivening banquets with his enthusiasm, Dom Caudron understood that the wine served at their table, reserved for their daily pleasure, had a bright future ... In 1929, when the winegrowers of Passy-Grigny lived from the sale of their grapes, without being able to add value to them, Dom Caudron submitted to them the idea of ​​joining together to found a Cooperative A table, assemblies and a generous donation later, 23 winegrowers, each making their contribution, They acquired a place of production, tools and pressing equipment to exploit, transform and live from the fruit of their shared passion: the Miller. The high mastery of this original grape variety gave birth to a range of champagnes revealing its fruity character in multiple expressions, from the most accessible to the most complex.
