La Coulée de Serrant fait partie des bouteilles de vin blanc qui laissent une empreinte dans la vie de chaque amateur, au même titre que son premier Egon Muller, Yqyem ou Montrachet. C’est une cuvée rare et mythique cultivée en biodynamie sur une parcelle surplombant la Loire, située sur les terres de Savennières.
En dégustation, c’est un chenin complexe et d’une grande variété aromatique selon les millésimes avec des notes fruitées, de pain d’épices, de fruits exotiques sur une finale d’écorce d’orange amère complétée de notes fumée et pierre à fusil comme c’est le cas sur cet exceptionnel 1996.
