Description

Dating back to the 13th century and owned by the lords of Beaujeu, the Château de Juliénas has always been a winery property. The northern part was rebuilt at the end of the 16th century.

The country's authentic stone vaulted cellars date back to 1744. It was in 1907 that Thierry's great-grandfather, Claude Condemine, acquired and restored the Château and improved the vineyard. The estate now has 40 hectares in Juliénas, Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent, making up the largest vineyard of the Juliénas appellation.
