The French family Le Lous is now the head of Château Cantenac Brown. Tristan Le Lous, an agricultural engineer and a passionate wine enthusiast, is very committed to the management of the property and forms a duo with José Sanfins, inseparable from the modern history of the estate.

From his childhood on an island in the Gironde estuary, José Sanfins has inherited a deep sense of the value of the work of the land and respect for nature. He invests his body and soul in the pursuit of excellence of the property.
In 2020, Tristan Le Lous and José Sanfins begin the construction of a new eco-friendly winery entirely in raw earth in line with their common requirement and their constant quest for excellence. A thoughtful project in homage to the land and Cantenac Brown's ties to nature.
The result is breathtaking: a winery unique in the world where the requirement of environmental quality has been brought to the highest level of what our time allows, while guaranteeing by the power of the earth a thermal inertia and a total humidity for wine farming.
The Castle is also surrounded by a garden of exceptional dimensions, heir to the arboretum originally planted by John-Lewis Brown, already aware of the importance of caring for nature and investing heavily in it.
Completed over the years by rare tree species that now form a valuable collection. In this biodiversity reserve, where flora and fauna flourish freely, most of the maintenance is carried out by eco-grazing. The Château has been a beekeeper since 2008 and produces its own honey, L'Or de Cantenac Brown
