Description
La Noblaie is a family estate located in Vau Breton, in the "Cabernet Franc Valley". This farm benefits from 24 hectares of clay-limestone hillsides planted with Chenin. These give a white Chinon of unparalleled finesse and elegance.
As for the estate, it offers a breathtaking view of the entire vineyard as well as the Vienne valley.
We work in organic farming. Indeed, the work we do in the vineyard is precise and adapted to the different terroirs. Always in this spirit, we carry out manual harvests allowing us to precisely select the grapes necessary for the elaboration of our wines. For example, our cuvée "Pierre de Tuf" requires concentrated and well-ripened berries that macerate for about twenty days in our XVth century tank dug from the tufa.

Since 1952, the Manzagol-Billard family has been passionately cultivating the vineyards of the domaine multi séculaire. Today Jérôme Billard offers contemporary wines, in Organic Agriculture and from grapes exclusively harvested by hand. Come and taste in our tasting cellar our Chinon Blancs, Rouges and Rosés. You will also see the oldest tank in Chinon (fifteenth century) which is still used to make one of the flagship vintages of the Domaine ("Pierre de Tuf"). We have also set up a marked route - with explanatory panels - in the vineyards that you can do in complete autonomy (about 40 minutes).
