Domaine DéCalage - Galets Roulés - 2019 - AOP Languedoc La Méjanelle

Red

Description

Production of white wine, AOP Coteaux du Languedoc, terroir of La Méjanelle, Sud de France.
Rolle for its aromatic freshness, Roussanne for its floral fragrances, Grenache Blanc for its roundness Age of the vines: 25 years Yield: 35 hl/Ha
To the eye, a brilliant pale yellow colour with pretty green highlights. The nose is complex and floral, with aromas of fruit (white peach, apricot) and white flowers (lily of the valley, lilac). On the palate, the attack is lively, a consistent but flattering fatness with a touch of minerality.

Know a bit more about the domain

An exceptional terroir that benefits from both strong, dry, cold winds, the Mistral and the Tramontane, and sea breezes that soften it.
An exceptional alchemy to make an exceptional wine.
The DéCalage is omnipresent, it is a sudden break between the urban world of Montpellier and just next door a haven of peace sheltered from the tumult.
What a pleasure to discover a Languedoc landscape, with the city, the ponds, the sea and the mountains just a stone's throw away.
