User profile description

Reconnecting with nature Champagne Régis Poissinet has been a family estate since 1947. It stretches over 7 ha located in different clay-limestone soils and silty-limestone from the Marne Valley. Our vineyard, aged 33 years on average, is made up of 35 plots distributed between Cuchery, Baslieux, Leuvrigny, Troissy and Mareuil le Port. Our main grape variety is Pinot Meunier, completed by Chardonnay and a little Pinot noir. Champagne vines With the arrival of Régis at the head of the estate, our vines are currently experiencing a real cultural change. Now cultivated with rigorous respect for their environment natural, but also of their own balance, they can finally express all the subtlety and richness of their terroir. Chalet Champagne Poissinet The abandonment of herbicides marked the beginning of the transformation of our vines and today we work our soils with a concern for omnipresent to preserve the biodiversity of our land. Now flora and fauna flourish freely and the exchanges between the soil and the root system of the vine are stimulated by the presence of a great variety living microorganisms. An essential condition for the terroir to be expressed in our grapes. Butterfly domain poissinet The arrival of the horse in our vineyards is part of this same process. For us, there is nothing folkloristic about it. It helps aerate steep sloping soils that are otherwise inaccessible. And this animal, both sensitive and powerful, contributes in its own way to boosting the precious microbiota of our soils
