Vindey
User profile description

History of the house My family members work the vines and produce their wine since moving to Vindey in the mid-19th century. The first press was installed on our estate around 1940 and it was the only one of the Sézannais. It was only in the 1960s that my grandfather, Roger, developed the wine and commercial business with the rise of champagne. My father, Bernard, then took over in 1973 and since 2000, I have been making my champagne as naturally as possible, avoiding as much as possible the contribution of wine products when growing in vats, in order to keep the natural aromas of my wines. My goal is to continue the family tradition by producing quality grapes and champagne, while respecting the environment (grassy vines, tillage, reduced treatments...).
