User profile description

Brewer of ideas and beers since 1922 At Jenlain, we have been brewing ideas and beers since 1922, a true family history, perpetuated from generation to generation. Today it is up to Mathieu to take the reins of the Brasserie Duyck and bring his vision, which he tells you in video: Brasserie Duyck has always fought to ensure that the French brewing landscape does not become uniform, is not represented only by large industrial groups and does not evolve towards a standardization of taste. So when the opportunity of a seat at Brasseurs de France presented itself, Raymond Duyck saw it as an opportunity to carry this path of diversity. This association for the defence and promotion of breweries now brings together about 130 breweries, from the largest (Heineken, Kronenbourg) to the smallest (a few hundred hectolitres). Raymond Duyck is the representative of small brewers on the Management Board of ABF. Since June 2014, he has also been president of Brasseurs du Nord and campaigns as for ABF for the defense and promotion of breweries in the Hauts de France. It is through his action within Brasseurs de France, for more than 20 years, that Raymond Duyck has earned his legitimacy and the recognition of small brewers. A commitment that Brasserie Duyck wishes to pursue. With her knowledge of decision-making bodies, she is undoubtedly the best placed to defend, federate and be the spokesperson for small brewers. Brasserie Duyck sees in the emergence of micro-breweries, a formidable current that energizes the beer market. She therefore wishes to continue her fight within ABF but also to make it clear that we must turn to the world. Going further with French Craft Brewers (an association created about ten years ago to promote French beers for export) is Mathieu Duyck's ambition today.
