Château Caillou is a vineyard of 18 hectares located in the Haut-Barsac. A history of grand cru classified since 1855 but not that. Château Caillou is a vineyard of 18 hectares located in the upper Barsac on a limestone clay plateau dotted with pebbles. It is planted with first choice grape varieties among the finest; the semillon representing 90% of the vineyard whose essential virtue is its adaptation to develop cineréa botrytis. It gives fine wines, of a beautiful gold color on notes of almonds, honey and cinnamon. The final blend on the very special terroir of Barsac is part of the fame of the great wines classified so close to each other.
