Visit and tasting of Chante Cocotte
Your host:

At the Chante Cocotte estate, located at the foot of the village of Fontcouverte, the plots cover only 4 hectares. The hundred-year-old vines of Grenache and Macabeu benefit from a limestone soil (white marl and travertine) while the Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc flourish on a loamy terroir of colluvium and alluvium at the bottom of the valley. The berries ripen at their own pace while the leaves are swept by the Cers and the marine, typical winds of the region. Soil analyses reveal a balanced and quality soil, which gives unique organoleptic properties to the grapes.
