The Pupillo Agricultural Society, founded in 1909, occupies much of the extension that was once the stronghold of Targia. For more than twenty years, Nino Pupillo has been dedicated to reconstructing the vineyards of his ancestors to revive the Moscato di Siracusa, a wine long gone. The company is located in the Contrada Targia, a place that has always been adapted to agriculture because of an ancient volcanic soil, unique in the south-east of Sicily, where most of the vineyards are located. We are specialists in the Moscato Bianco di Siracusa, which we offer in 5 variants: in addition to the famous Solacium, produced in collaboration with Giacomo Tachis, and Cyane, recent winner of Sud Top Wine, we produce a sparkling wine (Podere27), a "half-dry" Pollio) and a macerat (Damarete). The company also produces the Syracuse DOC Rosso, in its assembly version (Baronessa di Canseria) and raw (pure Nero d'Avola), the King Federico.
