The Château Pique-Sègue estate is made up of hills and valleys that extend to the Dordogne. Entering it is already a sensory odyssey. The history of the estate dates back more than 700 years, in the heart of the Libourne promontory. The vineyard was then already recognized for producing the best crus of Montravel and Bergerac. The Archbishop of Bordeaux listed the estate for the first time in the 14th century. A historical anchor, which will mark the beginnings of the rise of the vineyard. At the end of the 19th century, Château Pique-Sègue was considered “one of the finest estates in the canton” according to the Guide Féret.
