At the beginning of the 19th century, Château Paloumey, a 35-hectare estate in Ludon-Médoc, was owned by wine merchant Octave Dupuy. Convinced by the excellent potential of the South Médoc terroir, the latter completely renovates the property. When, in 1989, Martine Cazeneuve took the gamble of restoring the coat of arms of Château Paloumey, the challenge was great: there was no more vines or winery. The castle, a bourgeois house from the early 19th century, is the only remnant of the estate's glorious past.
