The vineyard was born in 2000 when I planted my first vines on the banks of the Loire, south of Angers. Today I am highlighting 4.5 ha of vines in Savennières. The distinctive terroirs, composed of ocher, green and purple schists, but also of Aeolian sands, are revealed in the wines thanks to the care taken in the work in the vines and in the cellar. Living soils and a preserved environment thanks to tillage, sowing of winter plants, excluding any chemical product or fertilizer, and the use of biodynamic preparations (Organic Agriculture certification since 2011) Limited yields to allow a natural concentration of the material in the fruits. Harvests by hand exclusively, carried out in several qualitative sorts. Natural vinifications to continue in the cellar the spirit of work engaged in the vineyard: slow fermentation by indigenous yeasts guaranteeing the reflection of the terroirs, no chaptalisation, no input except a little sulfur (in mineral form), aging in barrels of oak, stoneware jars or small containers.
