: Our objective: To sublimate the grapes with a work of integrity attached to the respect of the terroir" In 1993, Monique and André Castan, are the third generation, they realize their dream with the creation of the estate. Driven by the passion to create quality wines, generous, which respect the terroir, the evidence to vinify their own wine was born. In 1997 our cuvée "Les Terres Rouges" makes it possible to classify the village as a Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Languedoc. This was a significant turning point for the field in our quest for quality. In 2011, Valérie joined the estate, followed by her brother Guilhem, who since 2015 has become the winemaker. He proudly takes up his father's torch. Since 2014 we have the HVE 3 certification which rewards the respectful work we do in the vineyard and in 2016 we started a conversion of the entire estate to organic farming. In 2020 our domain obtains the organic farming certification. Our estate is located in Cazouls-les-Béziers, a winegrowing village in the heart of Languedoc, between the Mediterranean Sea and at the gates of the Haut Languedoc Regional Park. A geographically and climatically privileged location. It extends over 41 ha, with four very distinct terroirs. White land, rolled pebbles for our plains and clay-limestone and stony lands for our Languedoc and Saint Chinian PDO. We produce 10 grape varieties including Viognier, Chardonnay, Muscat, Sauvignon, Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Merlot. The vines are between 10 and 65 years old.
