Visit and tastings of Domaine Mabillot
Your host:

The domain The Reuilly appellation Our domain Created in the early 90s by our father Alain, our family estate extends over more than 8 ha of clay-limestone and siliceous soils with sauvignon, pinot noir and pinot gris grape varieties. It is located on different terroirs of the town of Reuilly: La Ferté, Montcocu, Lignis, Conges, Thaumiers and Coignons. In addition to our classic white, red and rosé, we produce Cuvées Montcocu and Ferté worked in an atypical way (detailed in the "Our wines" section). In order to guarantee our customers a quality of wine combining taste pleasure and preservation of the environment, our father has made the choice for several years to work in reasoned struggle. We are also convinced of the validity of this method, which consists of finding the right compromise between the sustainability of the terroirs, the vine and the quality of our wines. We produce 50,000 bottles a year mostly in white but also in red and rosé that we sell mainly in France via a network of wine merchants, in catering and at the estate but also for export to England and the Netherlands. We work between brothers and share with our employee Charles the passion for the vine and good wine that we like to pass on to the many lovers of the subject! We want to continue the development of new vintages to follow the modernization of the market and the new modes of consumption of wine, which is appreciated more and more at the time of the aperitif! Our wines are regularly rewarded and quoted in the national press but also abroad, we invite you to discover it in the News section. "I returned to the field in 2008 after studying oenology and commerce and a little practical exercise on the production side in the Médoc in Lynch Bages and on the commercial side at the Tonnellerie Taransaud then at the glassworks Mikasa Oenology Arc International Group. With Renaud we want to perpetuate the quality of wine that our father was able to establish while making it evolve according to current tastes" Matthew "I always wanted to return one day to the family estate but I wanted to live other experiences before. So I had the chance to travel around the world in the service of an American company leader in packaging. The retirement of our father a few months ago was an opportunity for me to join Matthieu on the estate" Renaud
