The only winery in Moldova, with a legacy passed to three generations and gifted with unique terroir of Ștefan Vodă region. In 1995, Eugen Pislaru, a man with a special attachment to the land and a lifelong passion for viticulture decided to turn Salcuta into one of the first wineries where the entire production cycle: having his own vineyards to use his own machines and facilities is monitored by him. He defined Vitis Vinifera as the goal of his life, which was entrusted to his eldest son Sergiu Pislaru. Sălcuța winery is named the best winery in Moldova for being a producer of high quality wines, promoting traditions and excellent quality of local wines, contributing to the image of the country as a wine country at the global level, as well only for his dedication to the development of Moldovan wine tourism.
