Pol Auguste Couronne was born in Hautvillers on October 22 1862, the birthplace of Champagne and Dom Pérignon. In this place steeped in history, conducive to inspiration and creation, Pol Couronne creates its brand and develops its products. Authenticity, passion and a sincere love for the culture of the earth have enlightened Pol Couronne in the elaboration of his wines. In 1887, he founded the Maison and marketed for the first time still and sparkling wines. Owner-winemaker, he aimed to pass on a particular philosophy: that of excellence and Champagne know-how.
